Pros
Depending on your manager, you could have amazing work/lie balance or be worked to death. I have had good ones that looked out for me, gave me opportunities, and made sure I was rewarded well. The pay is good as are the stock grants.
Cons
Not all the managers are good. There are a lot of people who are going nowhere or are coasting along (even after the recent layoffs). Promotions and raises are not done well or fairly. There are a number of sexist members in senior leadership. For all the Women's Initiatives, there is little the company does to actually promote women.
