Pros

Lots of opportunities, especially for those looking to get into management and begin a career, subsidized catered lunches plus free monthly luncheon for all employees, free gym and fitness classes (boot camp, zumba, yoga), parking garage available to all EEs, dedicated HR group, in house development and internal single database systems, business casual environment with jeans on Fridays (corporate HQ), EE stock purchase program, great benefits package including $1 health for EE, lots of EE appreciation activities (Secret Santa, Halloween costume contest, Fall Party in Bricktown, Customer Service week with food trucks and rides, National Payroll Week celebrations) and giveaways, management that provides regular feedback to direct reports, training beyond job duties, paid holidays and PTO, community outreach and charity programs for various local organizations, awesome people and culture. Paycom is literally always improving (but that means EEs must be stretching themselves too!)

Cons

- Always requires hard work and some overtime - not great if you just want an "easy" job -Traffic right at five is sometimes rough, but management has really helped getting OKC PD to direct traffic -Might be hard for someone who hates change, constantly update processes and systems to stay competitive. -My car is forever dusty from construction, because we are always building the next building or garage to keep up with growth.

Pros

- Base salary - PTO - Awesome colleagues - $1 Medical PPO offering

Cons

- Upper leadership seem to not value the operations department as much as they do with sales. They are not consistent as well, which causes them to change the entire department's job description, expectations, & commission structure every few months. Change is good but huge change every 3-4 months is so exhausting. - They overload you with too many clients to handle while increasing the number of internal calls. When asking for support from sales or middle management, its typically a hard negotiation or non-existent. Expect to work way over 40 hours/week and juggle 10-20+ clients at a time. - Sales will oversell on product & implementation expectation which makes the job 1000% harder. Turnover with sales is extremely high so don't expect for even the best reps stay as they either leave, get fired because quota was not met, or the new manager will cut them if they're "not the vibe". You get left with the newbies who does not know how to sell or support you when you need them. - Every role in this company has high turnover in general. Making it very hard to cross collaborate with other departments as everyone is either extremely swamped or new to the role and cannot support as well, - Being forced to go to Oklahoma for training every year, sometimes twice a year.
