Cult-like atmosphere (it is an actual thing to hear people say drink the kool-aid-I remember one VP telling us to follow Paycom with blind faith), delusional upper management requiring all meetings to be in person in an increasingly virtual world, resection/no starts can make it where you don't see your commission on deals for up to a year or at all (this happened to me twice-conveniently on my two biggest deals).
If your main goal in life is to get rich and don't care how you get it, you've found your home. If not, you will find yourself dying inside a bit more each day. I recall when I was 23 looking in the mirror and finding a gray hair after having spent 2 years in this place. Paycom messes with your mind. They try to make you feel small and worthless if you aren't rich or won't buy into the lies upper management tells you. I ended up needing therapy toward the end of my time there.
