Pros
-working in AC -offered benefits once you get to full-time include life, health, dental and optical insurance, which you can opt in or out of once a year. -relatively simple work, not very labor intensive -30% employee discount, on literally anything and everything, which is really nice, though can't be combined with any other existing coupons (still really nice)
Cons
-supervisors are always breathing down your neck about sales, upts, kpis, etc. Even when you're only a part time sales associate and can be really stressful. I've had - and sometimes still have - nightmares where I'm working and stressing out with bad customers who don't want to take more than 1 item. -if you work in a small store, you will be left alone to do all the work for few hours at a time because there's never enough payroll to bring a second person in. -never enough payroll -you will likely have to end up cheating the system to make the numbers work: offer coupons (which you aren't supposed to have) to the customer takes more things, offer discounts when there shouldn't be none, etc. -really annoying thing you have to do at the register is ask for everyone's information, with every transaction. Phone number, full name, address and email. Every time. People for the most part dislike being asked so many questions, so you also have to find a way to fake it sometimes, because a 65% email capture is required.
