Pros
Good strong family oriented team since staffs were generally so small you really got to know and care for your co workers. Plenty of free time for the most part you won't see your hours cross 29 per week for the most part regardless of how hard you work. (Stores are given very few hours of payroll for a week)
Cons
Very low pay Part time hours for all except managers Key holders took on extra responsibility but gained none of the benefits along with that Pressure to extend yourself even to work off the clock due to poor staffing Minimum wage for back breaking labor Little to no training just thrown into scenarios and expected to knock it out of the park. High turnover so very hard to keep staff on same page and accomplish daily tasks. Many times work by yourself for hours as a key holder Very little flexibility they expect you to have fully open availability time off is like pulling teeth managers don't reward hard work they take advantage of it and put more on your plate.
