Pros
It's a fairly easy job IF you know how to sell. And can be sort of fun to work at, depending highly on the manager that you get!
Cons
There is little to NO room to move up. It will take you upwards of a decade to move up in the company even though they say it's easy to move up. It's not. They recently changed things so there isn't really any incentive to do a great job. Corporate always says what you and your team need to work on, but you never feel appreciated for the things that you've been very successful in. This is not to say it's a bad job, because I have had a lot worse! But it is not a job that would be worth putting more than a year into. It's more of a transitional job that you dont stay at for very long so you can find something better. They are VERY customer based, but not very employee based. There is A LOT of very small, irrelevant things that corporate wants you to do, but they do not ever take into account how that affects the associate's job and the tasks they expect them to get done in a very specific time frame.
