Pros
There's always work to do, good employee discount
Cons
Low pay, too much work to do, raises are based on entire stores performance so if your store was low in sales etc the previous years and you're trying to catch up you won't get a raise because your store is still under, conference calls two days a week to go over the same items that are emailed to you and during busy times is so ridiculous, your always treated like a child and are incompetent no matter how well your doing, lots of employees leave because there's too much work for such little pay, high demands for management to pretty much be there every hour the stores open since they have to be there 45hrs a week then if you stay and go into overtime you get yelled at and or written up for overspending payroll, lots of times resulting in working off the clock, same with when you're home your phone never stops ringing with questions so your still working even when your supposed to be off, if you want a weekend off if has to be approved but yet they claim flexible scheduling when you're hired, then there's blackout times where no one is allowed to request off because of special sales etc., there sales reporting is always inaccurate but that's what they tell you and your employees to look at every single second of the day to watch your numbers, now you have to literally do math equations to figure out the accuracy of the reports to see how good or bad you and your team is doing,
