Pros

I like the perks like free coffee, nuts, fruit, benefits and a potential growth plan. I had the chance to speak to the President and CEO and they were both really down to earth. It's a publicly traded company which is nice to buy company stock at a cheap price. The dental plan is killer and the health plans are not to bad. They get the job done. They are also starting to offer tuition reimbursement. It's nice to those who hope to stay long term. Most days are fine and generally, your coworkers tend to try to make a crazy day a good day. They pay isn't the highest in the industry, but, the benefits offered really makes up for the difference. They are also getting financial advisors to help the employees manage their finances with the help of the retirement company we use. They are also trying more things so it's inspiring to see more come our way.

Cons

It's pretty clique call center. You really have to get along with your clients because if you don't, Paylocity won't hesitate to replace you. I have seen a write up against an AM when they were just standing up for themselves. It doesn't happen often, but it happens. I have heard and seen TL's talk behind their employees back and then say they want to help but their actions never align with their words so unfortunately, you are going to have to play the game. They also enforce random rules which really make it feel like a call center and not a world-class HR support center. A little misleading from what was originally painted but you might just need to ignore that. Anyways, a downside is that they put people on special teams without offering it to everyone. Some really don't qualify but just don't say anything. Also, a LOT of people come into work on a foreign substance and it is not professional. One more thing... its beginning to change. It sometimes feels like if you make a mistake or get on someone's bad side, it is every man for themselves. We will see how things go but let's hope I am wrong.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

The pay is decent compared to the market and the tech is solid.

Cons

The company is abandoning their strategy of "partner first" and is doing their best to become a worse version of Paychex/ADP... Every decision that comes from the top seems so disconnected with reality. Turnover is a huge problem. In just 12 months I've had turnover in my director, channel partner managers, channel support, partner services, RVP, SDR, and more. It's impossible to get anything done when every position around you is a revolving door. Everyone I speak with across lines of business has a similar story. It is a mess across the entire org.
