Pros

Its a job that pays well

Cons

You have no work/life balance..perfect companybfor those who have no families or want a life putside of payroll. Salaried employees working 60 hours a week for 40 hours pay. Corporate lies how things will get betterand never do. Work here if youd like to be divorced or just plain emotianally dead. The travel requirements are rediculous, 2 conventions a year, this is to appease those workers on tje verge of snapping after the 3 quarter ends and year ends. Hard work is shown appreciation by you doing all of the inept workers jobs. My health and life are more important than this companys stockholders. This was a very different corp before they went public... Zero care or concern for employees..

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are not having a positive experience. We are constantly working on initiatives to ensure that workloads are balanced, and we are reviewing things such as blackout periods in order to allow more opportunities for employees to unplug. I will be sure to provide this feedback to the appropriate parties. If you would like to discuss your specific concerns please feel free to reach out to me at lrivera-haire@paylocity.com. Thank you, Lauren Rivera-Haire

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Teammate relationships during difficult days.

Cons

Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
