Pros

Remote work, overall culture was great

Cons

Have to work 20+ hours of OT to keep up with workload. Work most weekends, hard to take vacation time due to client timelines and sheer number of clients. Most employees in department are overworked, burnout is general feeling for everybody. Not enough employees to keep up with number of clients. Pay isn’t that great for all of the work that is being out in, especially when you are salaried.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the remote work and culture. Maintaining our culture is important to us. I understand that there has been some high volume recently in Implementation and we have been working hard to ensure that employees are able to achieve work life balance with initiatives involving balancing workloads, removing non value add tasks, and black out reductions. I will be sure to share your feedback with the appropriate leadership and would like to discuss your concerns further if you would like to share. Please reach out to me directly at lrivera-haire@paylocity.com.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Teammate relationships during difficult days.

Cons

Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
