Pros

I will forever miss the friends I made. There were snacks and catered lunches. I built great networking bonds. Looks good on a resume because people don’t know how actually terrible it is to work there.

Cons

Literally everything else. It’s all an illusion. Once you stop drinking their “forward together” BS koolade and look around, you can see how miserable every person is. From the bottom up. It’s extremely demanding. Impossible to move up. Lack of support. Lack of guidance. Fake positivity. Fake leadership. Drama. Backstabbing. It’s really just overall not worth it. I feel like it was only a stepping stone to getting out and finding something better.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear you built lasting connections and a strong network during your time at Paylocity; those relationships are something we truly value. It's unfortunate that the rest of your experience didn’t reflect the culture we strive to create. Feedback like yours is important and helps us continue improving areas like support, growth, and leadership. While our vision of moving forward together is core to who we are, we recognize that your day-to-day experience didn’t reflect that. Thank you again for your honesty. We wish you all the best in your career ahead!

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Teammate relationships during difficult days.

Cons

Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
