It is pleasure to work in the Data Science team. Managers are very taking care on your life/work balance. It is not too much pressure - you can learn new things, contribute to OSS, attend conferences. They are not forcing to deliver fast all the time and you have enough time to think on options and deliver good quality solutions which was interesting to build. But the real gold is the atmosphere in the team. You can rely on your peers as well as managers trust the team. As the result our team is the one of the most performing in the company
Cons
No RSUs, 4 years laptop replacement policy. Mess in the management above the Data Science team. Too often a new managers come, unclear and different directions which is changing with each new manager

Thank you for sharing your experience, your feedback means a lot. We're thrilled to hear how much you value the culture, trust, and collaboration within the Data Science team. It’s clear that the team’s ability to innovate, support one another, and focus on quality over speed is making a lasting impact. We also appreciate your perspective on areas where there’s room to grow, especially around consistency in leadership and long-term tools and benefits. Feedback like this helps shine a light on what’s working well and what we can continue to improve across the organization. Thanks for being a part of PCTY!
Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.
Cons
Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
