Pros

Ping pong, foosball, and arcade machine in the break room. The people that work there are amazing.

Cons

Leadership has their heads on backwards. It was constant moving teams around, saying they'll never move teams around again, and then moving teams around. The tech stack is horrid and leadership is just cool with it. Bad practice on top of bad practices. You'll also be vastly underpaid

Pros

There are some cool people in the company. good health insurance and PTO, and snacks

Cons

I worked at Paymerang for over two years and do not recommend working here, specifically in operations. However, the following issues are prevalent across the majority of teams. There is a running joke that management has nothing better to do than watch and critique emails, phone calls, records, and task completion. Additionally, management places high pressure on employees to adhere to constantly changing goals and procedures, while lacking positive feedback. There is a lack of communication & agreement across management so staying up to date on the changing procedures can be chaotic... Sometimes managers don't even know what they are. The stress isn't worth the low pay and false promises of raises. From day one, management constantly tells employees that their benefits and culture surpass those of other companies, using it as an explanation for the problems operations bears the burden of. As a result, the majority of employees leave the company after the first 1-2 years. This also depends on how well the brainwashing of how luxurious it is working there compared to other companies holds effect. Another joke is that when people join, it almost feels like you're joining a cult. There's lots of toxic positivity that you begin to roll your eyes at after a few months. The benefits aren't worth the stress. Myself and a large pool of past colleagues have found higher-paying positions in better working environments.
