Pros
Consistent paycheck Great co-workers Good holiday gifts Opportunities to advance
Cons
Transparency doesn’t exist with Peak. Coming into the company I thought that I was helping to build a start up that cared about it’s employees when in reality - their only goal was to work us until we were completely ran into the ground. Working as an agent wasn’t terrible but the pay could definitely be improved - agents should be making at least $18/ hour & they need to add a mental health benefit or subscription service for therapy for all of the horrible content the agents have to see. Your “cost of living” raise will never be more than 15 cents. Moving into management was the beginning of the end for me. They expect for you to produce extraordinary results while paying everyone 5 cents an hour, providing little to no guidance, all while prioritizing their Philippines entity - It’s not fair. I’ve never felt as worn down and under appreciated by a job in my career. HR is non existent. Doesn’t respond to emails or other messages. unapologetically disorganized as far as I’m concerned. Not to mention the upper management talks down to everyone under them on the ladder. Not a place I would recommend to my worst enemy.
