Pros

Working here was great, salary-wise. There are a lot of opportunities to earn incentives (of course, depending on your account), and that in itself motivated me to give my best at work. I was lucky enough to be placed in a team with great members, and even better team leaders. They listened to me and understood my sentiments whenever I had meetings with them and shared some concerns. Peak is probably the best remote BPO company in the PH right now. Monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews also took place, which was a great benchmark on how you'll move forward in the company.

Cons

Being a BPO company, of course, taking a leave of vacation requires approval from not only my supervisor but also their boss. We'd need to file the leaves in advance, and your performance for the current and previous months can affect the result of the approval very much. Also, it can get really tiring to speak since I handled a voice account, with non-stop calls. Dealing with irate customers also took a toll on my health mentally, which caused me to take a break.

This is me reaching, but at times I do miss being in a physical site, just to be able to have that tangible interaction vs virtual.

Pros

Many BPO's claim that they have a positive culture but never truly execute on or live out their values. Peak Support does an excellent job of actually living and operating around company values. This is a place where people really do value transparency, work together, and treat mistakes as learning opportunities. Joining this company was the best decision I ever made. It completely changed my personal and professional trajectory in the best way possible.

Cons

As with any business, there will be ups and downs. This could be based on economic impacts or performance that became a learning opportunity and a chance for us to do better. So while not necessarily a con, there is an ebb and flow in business that can lead to movements from one area to another or sometimes, downsizing. However, if you perform well there is usually a home elsewhere in the business. Flexibility is key.
