Pros

Good pension and healthcare. Work life balance is totally dependent on your line manager of which there are human ones and the rest, with no lives of their own, who don't expect you to have one. My manager is very understanding about my childcare issues but not everyone is so lucky. Good maternity package.

Cons

Backstabbing is rife in some areas of the business. The constant restructuring is unsettling and confusing. Colleagues vanish in the night, often after years of service, with either no explanation or just a standard announcement that they have left the company. HR support for employees is non-existent. Lack of flexibility for staff on the ground, particularly working mothers, but senior managers seem to do okay with working from home the norm for many of them - especially on Fridays. Again, it is down to your luck in who is your line manager and who manages them too.

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
