Pros

You can move / live out of state and work remotely full time (even before COVID). They have good benefits, even though the benefits have decreased over the years, having a 401K they match and a lot of PTO as I have been there for a good while. They also have a stock option but you have to agree to buy monthly for 6 month or a year. I do like a lot of the people I work with on my team.

Cons

They have a lot of employee turnover (especially in the higher up positions) and the ones who left that I know always got more pay and the job the better and what they were hired for originally here (their words). As I mentioned above, the benefits have decreased over the years. They end up matching a higher percent of your salary for the 401K but they put in less in per percentage. Health Care coverage went up (because the company didn't want to eat the difference anymore) with the coverage going down in quality. Even the FSA change so some of the amount doesn't roll over anymore to the next year. My job has changed several times and have had to move teams. I went from a Web / Front End Developer to Software / Backend Developer. It was really tough to get promoted as they always had a reason (we only can promote a certain amount because of budgeting, moving departments / job title change where I had no choice). Direction of the main system I work on kept changing with each head director, which we ended up going back to an older version after working a year on a better and updated approach. I saw my manager have to take on several teams because they were short handed due to people leaving. It was not fair to the manager. They were mostly in meetings all day due to having too many teams.

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
