Pros
Amazingly talented, dedicated people trying their best to be productive and effective in an environment that seems designed to throw obstacles in their paths
Cons
Perpetual re-orgs with ever-increasing emphasis on processes and multiple teams all doing similar tasks. Engineers cannot access their own database or web servers without filling out half a dozen "tickets" and securing twice that number of approvals. Continued offshoring of development work. Push for open floor plan to encourage collaboration is nothing but a ruse for cost savings.
