Pros

• Some of the most passionate and intelligent colleagues I’ve ever worked with. People genuinely care about the mission. • Flexible hybrid work setup. • Interesting problems to solve, particularly in data and AI. • Product vision has potential if it’s properly resourced and supported.

Cons

• Engineering leadership lacks visibility and accountability. There’s a wide gap between senior leadership and day-to-day teams, especially in regional offices. • Many engineering managers are passive or ineffective. ICs often take on leadership responsibilities by necessity—driving delivery, raising risks, and holding quality standards without support. • Career growth and mentorship are not meaningfully supported. Talented engineers are left to stagnate or leave. • Communication is inconsistent. Feedback is solicited but rarely acted on in a way that drives change. • Morale is low. Many strong contributors are disengaging or quietly looking elsewhere.

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
