Great coworkers & patients! Coming from a new nurse, the whole “nurses eat their young” thing was never something I had to experience with this company. There was plenty of training in the office, through online training, and friendly and helpful nurses who regularly work in the homes.
The patients and their families are wonderful to work for and you learn many different skills on the job.
Cons
It can be a bit lonely not directly working with any coworkers and during NOC shifts, but there is always someone on-call if you have questions or need help.
The rotating shift schedule can also be hard on sleep.
