Pros
This is a company where you come to grow dramatically as a professional. You will be challenged, you will be pushed, you will work hard... and it will single-handedly be one of the most defining periods in your career. I have worked at many companies, both large and small, and every skill, habit, and lesson I have learned at Peek has given me more confidence for my career than I ever thought possible. I am proud to say I am "Peek-trained". I have been here for nearly two years and have seen a number of people come and go. One theme remains constant: No matter their background (e.g. Former VPs, managers, new college grads, etc.) every person acclaims how much they grew professionally during their tenure. You will learn how to be strategic, you will adopt productive habits, and you will be exposed to how a successful business is run. Now, what about the people? I've never considered myself someone who drinks the Kool-Aid, but god, it's hard not to here. The culture is outstanding. Not only do I genuinely enjoy every person across each team (Engineers and salespeople alike!), but I also have the upmost respect for their attitudes, dedication, and work ethic. Growth? Check. Culture? Check. That means the pay must suck, right? False. I'm writing this review as I prep to travel the world for two years. I have saved all of this money while working at Peek and living in the most expensive city in the U.S. I'm not saying you don't have to work for it, but if you want, you can make more than enough. I'm somewhat mad at Peek in a way: I think it spoiled my ability to be content at a sub-par company forever.
Cons
As a salesperson, the ramping period is definitely difficult. It takes and while to acquire the industry knowledge to be successful. And even after you are successful, it's difficult to ever feel like you've ever "mastered" your role. You will constantly be presented new challenges that will keep you on your toes. If you want a job where you sit back and relax day-in and day-out, then this may not be the right place for you.
