Pros
I joined Peek because of the strong leadership and the focus on experiences over stuff. I haven't been disappointed. Peek is a company filled with people that are invested in the mission of connecting people through experiences and are good at what they do. Everyone is very collaborative, we are all in this together and people across departments work together well. When things get hard, everyone pulls together to help where needed. With Covid there were some hard decisions that had to be made to ensure that everyone was safe and that the company remained strong. Decisions were timely and respectful of everyone impacted. We've started to see strong recovery, both because of those hard decisions and because of how hard everyone at Peek has worked these past few months. In my time at Peek, I've seen a big investment in the employees. Every company meeting, we hear about more team members excelling and getting promoted. They are rolling out learning opportunities and new ways to connect while we are all working from home (due to covid). If you want to take on more responsibilities and are good at what you do, you'll have amazing growth at Peek.
Cons
In the past year, there has been some big leadership changes, all for different reasons. Leadership changes are always a bit challenging, but things are starting to settle back in. Peek is like an adolescent start up, not quite brand new, but still the startup feel and needs. If you aren't comfortable with some ambiguity in your role, taking on additional responsibilities as needed, or needing to move fast, this may not be a good fit for you.
