Pros

Pella is a great company to work for. They do things the way you want a company to. They're family-owned and do all of the product manufacturing, 11 factories, here in the US. They follow environmentally-friendly practices and use non-toxic ingredients. They do profit sharing with the employees, so we all make more when we're more profitable. My schedule, on the retail sales team, was flexible. Allowing me to request time off when I needed. The sales manager, Ruben, was willing to adjust my schedule to accommodate my personal appointments.

Cons

There's a long learning curve with the extensive product knowledge needed. You have to discipline yourself to learn what's needed.

Pros

Great product, hours were good, and good culture overall. I worked there for well over 10 years and was very sad to leave.

Cons

The Birmingham branch went through several owners during my long tenure with the company. Each owner had its pros and cons. Eventually Birmingham was bought out by the corporate office. The company constantly changing owners gave alot of anxiety and employees were often left feeling a lack of stability. There is not alot of room for growth and the starting pay is not the best, unless you are in Trade sales.
