Pros
Good work-life balance: paid holidays, no mandatory OT. Work varies so you won't be stuck doing the same thing every day. Tons of free swag, occasional catered lunches, lots of events and celebrations.
Cons
Upper management talks a lot about DEI but it mostly focuses on corporate. Retail is the face so they put stock in making that look good, so distribution is often forgotten about. Talent isn't recognized or utilized the way it should be and there's a lot of roadblocks if you want to grow your career. The recruiting process is broken and a focus has been placed on being as unbiased as possible, but that's created a problem in itself where good talent goes overlooked because of the interview process trying to create fairness to unqualified and external candidates. Job requirements and accomplishments are almost irrelevant, they only care about interviews and whether or not they like you. They say that they want to grow skills and help you advance your career but most avenues for this are short lived or forgotten about, they don't commit to anything for long.
