I have seen this company go from outstanding to horrible. Two years ago, I would have never considered leaving the company. I had every intention of building a career with the company. However, they have stopped listening to their employees. They have had multiple instances where an employee has approached upper leadership and/or HR and the individual was let go or the issue was swept under the rug. These instances have contained issues such as management breaking multiple HR guidelines. Employees have gotten to the point where they will not report such instances for fear of retaliation.
The morale throughout the company is very low. Yet again, leadership is not one bit concerned. The turnover rate is steadily increasing.
The upper leadership has gotten "too big for their britches" and it is affecting the staff. They are pushing these "values" onto the staff but they are not living what they preach.
Pen Air mainly has to offer empty promises and false pretenses. Seek growth opportunities elsewhere. Lower management does try extremely hard to retain their employees but normally once it goes to upper leadership (regionals & above) the ball gets dropped. In most cases nothing is done until an employee has turned in their resignation letter, if even then.
