Over the 6+ years that I have served at Pen Air, one thing has always remained constant. That I feel valued and respected as an employee. Our culture and values are not just catch phrases and fluff. It's how we live our lives. At work and at home. Our leadership team strives to make decisions that enhance the lives of our members and our employees. Every decision starts with the question, "Is this going to enhance lives?" I feel like I have a voice and a place at the table, where my skills are utilized and I feel satisfaction through my work. Every request I have made for professional and personal growth opportunities have always been encouraged and celebrated. A common phrase in our department is "We don't expect perfection. But we do expect a perfect effort." I feel empowered to seek out new ideas and implement them, even if it means failing. Failure means learning. And learning means growth. The benefits that the credit union offers are unparalleled. Medical and retirement options far exceed most employers in our area.
