Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate your commitment to making Pendo a great place.
We agree that anyone considering a job at Pendo should ask about our eNPS. Transparency is a core value. Our eNPS is currently 56 (as of May 2019). This is down from two quarters prior, and our goal is to end the year at 75. To be brutally honest, I’m unsure whether we’ll achieve that goal. But I do know that we’re going to work hard and use the data to help inform our priorities and focus.
From time to time, we do have to part ways with employees. It’s not something we enjoy— thankfully, it doesn’t happen very often. But in each case, individuals have received direct feedback and have been given the opportunity to improve. As a matter of respect to each individual, we don’t share performance details publicly, so it may not seem like the case, but it is absolutely the case.
It is correct that we don’t have salary transparency—that’s also to respect the privacy of individuals. We do have annual salary reviews specifically meant to address inconsistencies in roles. As of now, there are minimal differences in salaries for people who have the same role.
I am happy to discuss any of these issues with existing employees or potential candidates.
