Pros

Generous PTO, 401K match and sick leave. Culture of mutual respect emphasized with RITE values.

Cons

Pay is less compared to market rates. Not many opportunities for growth internally in the academic departments, especially in the College of Medicine. You need to wait for someone to leave or retire in order to move up. Cannot move between Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine without starting over and losing PTO Bank and service years.

Pros

Amazing hours and pay. Everyone is extremely friendly. It does not get too crowded most of the time during the summer. Free access to the gym as well.

Cons

Do not have anything negative to say

Pros

Decent Benefits, Nice Amounts of Time off

Cons

Staff are the lowest of the totem pole and you KNOW it. Pay not enough to live by yourself as a working adult in State College Area. Will waste your time if there's nothing to do by requiring you to sit there while faculty and admin get to "work from home" (they really don't) President Benepudi will probably give herself 2 more $1.5 million pay increases while you work there unable to afford a simple apartment by yourself.
