The the words of the University speak of the value of everyone, however the actions over the past few years speak much louder that they don't. Pay has not kept up with inflation, benefits for new employees continue to decrease, the latest Compensation Modernization, though touted as a large investment in the employees, for those of us in Information Technology, find that positions were a demotion, and maximum salary reduced substantially. The IT department has been in a state uncertainty and organizational change for 5+ years. With budget reductions/cuts, positions not being able to be filled by qualified candidates, with the departure of numerous highly skilled IT employees for higher paying positions with better benefits, pay/benefits not keeping up with inflation, and the lack of transparency from management, it's really not a place I'd recommend for IT personnel.
