Pros

High-quality and thorough training program for new graduate nurses. HMC is a level one trauma center so you will receive a wide variety of cases and ample opportunities to advance your skills. Management on the SICU is fantastic and truly looks our for their employees.

Cons

Not a con but definitely something to think of if you are looking for a career here, it is a fast-paced environment with sick patients, you must be confident and willing to work. The every-other weekend requirement can be a deterrent.

Pros

Works from home and PTO

Cons

Consistently adding more and new work assignments with no additional compensation or training causing much stress among the staff. Pay does not reflect importance and difficulty of the position.
