Pros
Mostly friendly co-workers; relatively laid-back atmosphere (but sometimes boring); flexibility to move within company; neat and well-maintained office buildings. This company has tremendous potential within the small, semi-rural community.
Cons
Very low pay; unstable management; poor accountability and inefficient systems; experiential knowledge and work ethic are undervalued. Pseudo-christian image--upper management pretends to have Christian family values & parades Christian "celebrities" around the property but they underpay (& delay/avoid scheduled evaluations) and have a revolving door of employees. Most employees can barely support themselves independently, never mind a family. Instead they keep everyone poor enough to receive government aid and preach against unions and have a strict anti-moonlighting policy--if you don't like any of it, no problem, they'll find another desperate former retail employee to fill your seat. Upper management is too worried about keeping up appearances to actually take responsibility for make real lasting improvements within the company and community.
