Pros

Flexible hours Very intelligent team mates, you really get to learn ALOT if you are eager and put yourself out there Good compensation

Cons

I honestly thought I would have the opportunity to grow my career with Perficient. Unfortunately, I ended up getting a rude awakening once our project ended and we all hit the bench. Bench time was a question that I specifically asked during the interview process and was told that they do a good job of supporting employees, because they understand that things happen with projects. This was not the case because less than 2 weeks after we hit the bench, a number of us ended up getting laid off. I really fought hard to see if there were any internal tasks I could work on until management figured things out but they weren't having it. The work culture for this company took a negative turn in recent months because they seem concerned about generating revenue which is great, but really do not value VERY smart employees. Also, the company seems very "top heavy". Everyone is a "Director", but no one really has adequate insight on finding ways to improve the practice. Very disappointed with the outcome of this company.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
