Pros
Lot's of freedom to create programs that will drive revenue. Some really smart people to work with.
Cons
Practically a VAR in consultant's clothing. Selling product takes priority over selling solutions. Read a lot about the staff augmentation drive, but I think it's changing toward selling product in many of the vendor business units. It's all about revenue. They increase next year's goals without any insight into where the market is headed or what happened the prior year. Just up, up, up. Delusional is a good word.
