Pros
I joined the team in March of this year, and I have thoroughly loved it. I work with children individually, in group therapy, and we have family sessions that include their parents. I work closely with the other members of our therapy department, the nursing staff, and the psychiatrist to provide the best care possible for the children I serve. This job is extremely rewarding. The children we work with are very mentally ill, and we have the opportunity to help them get well by educating them on the utilization of healthy coping skills and medication management. We have daily meetings to ensure adequate communication, and we have a meeting twice a week that includes management. In these meetings, we are given the opportunity to express concerns and needs. Management has an open door policy, and they are always open to changes that could better our hospital. Most importantly, the clinical director works closely with us to ensure that we are adequately trained and help out if we are struggling. The work environment here is great. I really enjoy my job, the kids I work with, and the people I work alongside of.
Cons
