Pros

Great to work with customers helping them solve problems. The older management style allowed you to grow, learn, advance if you desired and put in the effort. Company supplied you all the tools you need to succeed.

Cons

Newer service management is all about the numbers and quality of products is going down due to saving a buck in manufacturing. I participated in skip level meetings with previous CEO and quality improved and steps were taken to get better. The verdict is still out on the new CEO. I worked for PE for 18 years. It use to be a fun job.

Pros

Great people in field and customer facing positions. Vast knowledge base of applications and instrumentation.

Cons

Very poor executive leadership- don't want to spend money on marketing, promotion of instrumentation, or relevant customer applications. Most do not know industry. Wonder why sales are decreasing.
