The employee handbook stated can make reimbursement for lodging and personal car travel to the site. But the superior set another rule to not allow workers to make reimbursement. Keep mentioning save cost. The site area is 40km distance from the company, but the superior asks the worker to drive 30km away from the company and park the car somewhere. Since it is not to the customer site, so it is not allowed to claim. But in fact, the workers drove 30km for working purposes. The employee handbook did not state that probation/newly join worker cant make reimbursement. Sometimes the superior lazy to go to the office. She asks the worker purposely drive near to her house (30km away from the office), but cant do any petrol claim. This is a kind of misuse. The superior forced workers to share rooms in the hotel for outstation purposes. But the handbook mentioned that every single worker can spend rm270 for hotel purposes. But the superior set her own rules, which do not allow workers to book a single room. I feel it is unhygienic and has no privacy at all. Need to face your superior 24 hours, including sleeping time.
