Work was pretty much entirely up to you to plan routes, try and wrangle customers, and a LOT of the addresses I was given to check up on hadn't been seen in 3+ years and frequently weren't even customers for just as long. Their record keeping is a mess, and made the job needlessly chaotic. Also one time I met a small black bear under someone's porch, that was sporty. I ultimately left for health reasons, not because of the job.
