Pros

Most of the folks there share a passion for pets, which is nice.

Cons

Too many to list! 3 years of seeing a shirk, being on Xanax just to try to make it through a day of the verbal abuse. (I knew of 5 folks taking Xanax due to working here!) It is like being with a partner that loves to break you down, be little you and rip yourself esteem. Since they've been bought out it has only gotten worse! They let folks with 24 years experience with PSM; in fact the only company they'd ever worked at go during layoffs, you can't pay for that type of knowledge about your business. Longevity with the company means nothing!

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Cons

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
