      Pros

      When management is good, it can be a fun and productive place to work. I learned a lot about animal care there, and was extremely satisfied with the way i was able to help people learn how to care for their pets in the best way.

      Cons

      As you start liking the job, you will learn more about the pet foods, and what nutrition is truly best for pets. You will come to find the majority of foods that petsmart has to offer are sub par, and it will break your heart watching people buy it for their animals. It can be extremely frustrating watching people do very very dumb things with their animals

      Pros

      If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

      Cons

      Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
