Pros
Weekly checks, always work to do and days are not boring (unless your cashier all day) multiple raises within your first year but not anything amazing usually.
Cons
No room for advancement, regional and district positions need fresh replacements as individuals let bad things slide if they like certain stores/managers. Training plan is hard to obtains and career ending if not met, no real "talent building" and company would rather hire lots of part timers than give full time hours to worthy people.
