Pros

I love working with animals. I also love helping the customers that come through with a new pet. My co-workers overall are very nice. Everyone is friendly and I am offered full benefits whether or not I am part time or full time which is fantastic.

Cons

There are certain aspects of the management style that are very unprofessional. There is not much structure or organization when it comes to management styles. I have about 7 managers at my one store and it can become confusing and frustrating when trying to figure out who is appropriate to go to for help. My schedule jumps around quite a bit and I do not understand why.

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Cons

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
