Pros

Short work week. If you work in extrusion or contour or some maintenance positions you work 4 days one week and three days the next changing back and forth each week.

Cons

Long hours, 12 hour shifts for regular employees

Pros

Best onboarding experience! The team at Petoskey Plastics are really best-in-class at welcoming new employees. Thoughtfully organized orientation, training and welcoming feeling across all levels of the organization. Exactly what you hope for in family company. The company is well structured, and expectations are clearly defined to provide an atmosphere of fairness and respect. Great place to make a difference and be heard.

Cons

I have not observed any challenges as yet. The people across all site locations work hard to provide you with a sense of inclusion and the tools and support you need to succeed.

Pros

Insurance was good, and cheap for what is included.

Cons

Training not good No training guide or paperwork to be trained on. Just notes from former employee. No clear instructions. Asked for help, never really got it. When having walked through my process in doing inventory they could not see a thing I done wrong, but it was still off, and still my fault. I was fired for no reason. They are still having the same issues in inventory as I did. And they still do not have the issue straight yet. I asked for FMLA for my dad because of his cancer, i took FMLA on Monday to take him to his appointment. I come back to work the next day on Tuesday, and I was out the door by 11 am. Very quietly out the back door.
