Pros
Great pay for people with HS diploma. No heavy lifting, Good benefits. Many people do not retire until well into their 70's. Not a physically challenging job.
Cons
There are 2 shutdowns a year when you'll not be working....That means you're not getting a paycheck. Lack of communication from upper management and even middle management to each shift. You'll work straight midnights for a very long time.
