Pros
Work Life Balance, Good Pay and Benefits, Great People. Overall good corporate mission, drug portfolio, and research work. The review cycle and process for career development are robust and flexible with many ways to move around the organization. Great place to learn and experiment with ideas and technology.
Cons
Company is very fragmented by divisions and small departments with silos of managers. There is very little sharing between silos or groups for resource or information so there are lots of redundant people and work being done. Difficult relationship of R&D with PGS (manufacturing) hinders efficient development progress and timelines. Many groups would greatly benefit from a lean approach to design and for manufacturing for higher efficiency.
