Pros

The benefits are great. They take employee health and safety very seriously. Managers really trust their employees; they have many methods in place to check your department's efficiency without feeling like you're being micromanaged.

Cons

The pay could be better. 10 years ago, the pay was probably highly competitive, but that is no longer the case. They really need to adjust wages to better fit with the current cost of living. Furthermore, the plant is open 24/7. This includes holidays and weekends. Most people I run into work 12+ days in a row (myself included, it's rough). It would not be difficult for them to cease production on weekends and holidays, but they refuse to do so. They constantly make decisions that force us to work more/longer without considering that we are actually people with lives outside of Pfizer.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Despite the failures of leadership, bonus payouts are excellent. Smart people who still care.

Cons

Executive leadership is completely out of touch and the company is directionless. Every year there are multiple rounds of layoffs, aging infrastructure gets worse every year, morale is low and the joke is that people hang on to “get a package”. Opportunities for advancement are very few and far between.
