Pros

The rest of the accounting department was great to get along with and fostered a team environment. There were quarterly team building activities that allowed for a break and helped build those relationships within the department. Staff Accountants are paid for overtime and are not expected to work many weekend hours (other than once a year with year end closing).

Cons

Tone from the top was not good. Senior management did not inspire loyalty nor give a feeling of appreciation to the corporate staff. Employees did not feel like there was a good route for advancement. The company did not offer good training for new employees and this resulted in a loss of procedural knowledge as older term employees left the company.

Pros

Absolutely none, used to be a great company prior to going public. New executive leadership has ruined the company.

Cons

Work life balance, stress, constantly changing objectives, forces supervisors to fire team members due to performance issues while the data used is inaccurate, constantly restructuring org structure, toxic interdepartmental relationships, severe favoritism, constant micromanagement and devious business practices.
