Pros
So many pros for a pharmacist or technician. The schedule is amazing compared to other pharmacies. No on call for nights/weekends. Able to work with getting time off for appointments/kids functions, etc. when needed. The staff are all hard working, easy to get along with and there is little to none of the typical drama or "clique" type things that tend to happen in any company. The director is great - very easy to work with. The work load is manageable. It's very busy, but everyone pitches in and works as a team to get it done. It is very much a team oriented environment.
Cons
The computer system is cumbersome and hard to learn. Training is on the job. There is not a formal training process, and you kind of just have to jump in with both feet and take off on your own. Benefits are not very good at all. If you have a family who needs health insurance, it's not very affordable. The 401K match was stopped this year as well. PTO is reasonable though. Pay is okay but could be better.
