Pros

Unlimited PTO and there may be people you easily connect with on a personal and professional level that makes the time there manageable

Cons

My experience at Phenom People was not filled with fond memories. Their #notnormal culture is a cover for the disorganization, last minute fire drills, lack of clarity and little direction coming from management. There are managers who are not effective, relatable or positive and are more concerned about being favored and climbing the ladder then doing what’s right . Even when senior leaders receive feedback about these individuals from a range of people, nothing is done even when promises were made. In hindsight, they were just hoping the problem would fix itself and that people would leave on their own accord instead of having to listen to repeated complaints. Things never got better, changes were never made and it continued to become more chaotic as the company grew at an alarming rate.

Pros

Phenom offers exceptional flexibility with unlimited PTO and minimal micromanagement. The benefits are top-tier, and the free food in the office is a great perk. Overall, it’s a very employee-friendly environment that values autonomy.

Cons

There is a significant lack of direction within the CV team, with constantly shifting priorities and inconsistent delivery cycles. Methods and tools change frequently, and data collection is manual and inconsistent, frustrating both clients and employees. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge sharing between teams, which exacerbates inefficiencies. Leadership also lacks a clear vision for the department’s future, and there is no intuitive framework to streamline processes or deliver value more efficiently, creating ongoing friction for the team.
