Pros

The product is GREAT - if only it could be implemented properly and there was a working support system for clients. As a sales rep - you are trusted to work independently There are a handful of great people trying to make it work

Cons

- No strategic leadership or accountability - There is no top-down strategy or common goal. For a company racing to go public I was shocked at the lack of support, value, strategy, or guidance given to sales reps. I'm all for sink or swim but the executive team passed down unattainable quotas. (when I say unattainable - I mean NO ONE hitting quota) - Internal meetings with no point or next steps- Team meetings were somewhat helpful to hear what's working with your colleagues but there were other meetings held frequently where different departments are just blaming each other for what's going wrong or why things weren't delivered or deals aren't closing. There were countless instances where I would ask another department or person for assistance on something in their wheelhouse and I would be directed to someone else WHO WOULD THEN DIRECT ME BACK TO THE PERSON I ORIGINALLY REACHED OUT TO. This did not happen once or twice. This was a WEEKLY occurrence. Particularly in a remote environment - that's really unacceptable. Director roles for different departments seemed to be doled out not because of experience but because of everyone else quitting. -Overall lack of value placed on the folks getting dollars through the door - At the end of the day - there seems to be no sense of team cross departmentally or cross functionally. I suspect Covid made these challenges worse.

Pros

Phenom offers exceptional flexibility with unlimited PTO and minimal micromanagement. The benefits are top-tier, and the free food in the office is a great perk. Overall, it’s a very employee-friendly environment that values autonomy.

Cons

There is a significant lack of direction within the CV team, with constantly shifting priorities and inconsistent delivery cycles. Methods and tools change frequently, and data collection is manual and inconsistent, frustrating both clients and employees. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge sharing between teams, which exacerbates inefficiencies. Leadership also lacks a clear vision for the department’s future, and there is no intuitive framework to streamline processes or deliver value more efficiently, creating ongoing friction for the team.
