Pros

In the words of many Phenom employees “Phenom is not for everyone.” This phrase embodies the culture here. Employees are given minimal support and placed in roles with high expectations and set up for frustration. When another employee leaves it is chalked up to their inability to handle the challenges of working at Phenom accompanied by the phrase “Phenom is not for everyone.” Note that many of the positive reviews here are from employees in their first two weeks of employment. Pros - Ability to work from home for the foreseeable future. Phenom has been very supportive of keeping employees at home full time. - Talented colleagues - Phenom gets great talent but loses good people quickly

Cons

- There is no training and minimal guidance during and after onboarding. - Schedules are packed and there is not daytime flexibility. - Management, especially upper management, is out of touch with issues being faced by teams. - There is no effort by the company at any level to understand and address issues teams are having. Any issues are skipped over quickly during company meetings. - Work is very siloed with minimal collaboration between teams and within teams

Pros

Phenom offers exceptional flexibility with unlimited PTO and minimal micromanagement. The benefits are top-tier, and the free food in the office is a great perk. Overall, it’s a very employee-friendly environment that values autonomy.

Cons

There is a significant lack of direction within the CV team, with constantly shifting priorities and inconsistent delivery cycles. Methods and tools change frequently, and data collection is manual and inconsistent, frustrating both clients and employees. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge sharing between teams, which exacerbates inefficiencies. Leadership also lacks a clear vision for the department’s future, and there is no intuitive framework to streamline processes or deliver value more efficiently, creating ongoing friction for the team.
